Logging in and out

Although the system can be used by anonymous users (that is, any member of the public, without needing a password), there are features that require login where you will need to give a valid UserID and a password. All contribution to the systen requires a valid login. Use of the Your Info area also requires a valid login. Please consult the user help.

If you wish to enter your username and password please click 'Sign In >'at the top of the screen.

If a user name is already showing in the top header panel then that user is logged in and must log out before another user can log in. To log out click the 'logout' link in the top header panel.

You type your username into the top field and your password into the lower field. These are case sensitive and please ensure you do not have any accidental blanks in your entry. Your password will not be displayed but masked by a star for each character.

Click the Log In button.

When you now check the the system header you should see your username. In this example the username is 'sjb'. In your case it will be your identity.
